Everything You Need to Know About Brand Identity Elements

Branding has always been an imperative part of a business’s marketing strategy. While you may think your business brand only consists of elements like logos and colors, it is much more. Having a strong brand identity gives you an edge over your competitors.

And in today’s growing digital world, where customers get exposed to new brands every day, businesses must take each aspect of branding seriously. One of the key factors of branding is identity elements which should be clearly defined.

In this blog post, we will be discussing what they are and how they contribute to a successful branding strategy.

A brand name that is attractive and relatable stays with the customers for years.

● Logo: It’s the logo of your brand that gives the first impression in the minds of the audience. Businesses spend a good amount of time and money to create the logo of their brand. There have been controversial cases where many companies were forced to change their logo designs due to a variety of reasons.

● Color: The color scheme of your business is critical for the additional visual branding elements you create. For instance, the design team will add brand color to the logo, graphics, images, and other marketing materials. Consumers are able to relate to a brand when they see the brand has done a commendable job of creating an attractive color scheme.

● Graphics: The graphics and image element is a tricky part of branding as they tend to be in regard with other brand elements that make your brand unique. Hence, all the graphics, when shared on different platforms, should be shared with a consistent color scheme.

● Typography: Typography simply refers to the fonts that you use to create different business materials. The marketing team should be careful to stay consistent so that your branding stays cohesive. This will help customers recognize your brand easily and form a connection by seeing your different business materials.

● Tone: The tone and voice of your brand don’t mean how your brand sounds in audio, but it’s more about your brand personality. For instance, does your brand give a humorous and funny vibe or a more professional vibe? Hence, the tone of your brand name should be very clear with regard to the purpose of your business. Aim to pick a tone that clearly describes what your business does and who its target audience is.
