County of Orange Adopt-A-Park Program Serves over 30 harbors, beaches and parks in Orange County. Volunteers can assist with beautification projects, trail monitoring, nature walks and more. Visit them at www.ocparks.com.

iHOPEoc Basic Needs Afternoon Distribution Program – The afternoon distribution only requires two volunteers over 18. It takes place on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 4:30 – 5:30 pm, in the cul-de-sac near San Felipe de Jesus church, 26010 Domingo Ave in Capistrano Beach, in conjunction with the Welcome INN meal for the homeless. Family Connections – Friendly Faces Give an Adult with special needs an opportunity to strengthen their abilities. The Friendly Faces program provides these individuals an opportunity to strengthen their abilities in social and independent learning while providing new adventures they might not have otherwise. Volunteers are required to be 18 years of age. Once you have been selected there will be a Family Home Instructor who will train you step by step and introduce you to your new friend. Grandma's House of Hope Workforce Development Program is aimed at assisting the women in our transitional housing programs as well as adults of low-income families who have little choice but to live in motels in Orange County. We are seeking interns and volunteers to help us teach some of the computer skills and job search training classes/workshops for the women of our transitional housing program, as well as the parents of the motel families in our Nana's Kidz program. Alzheimer’s Family Services Center – AFSC is one of the few adult day health care centers in Orange County that prepares and serves meals straight from the onsite commercial kitchen. The volunteers will be assisting the Meal Coordinator with the prep, set-up, and clean-up. Please contact Aimee Ruiz at aruiz@afscenter.org.
