Lead
agency responsible for implementing Orange Countys
Client Management Information System (CMIS), the regional
database of clients and services providers that tracks service
needs and usage patterns to better understand and address the
barriers to success that homeless and at-risk populations face.
Increased the number of clients tracked in CMIS by 140% during
2007.
Contributed to the increase in the number
of beds within the Continuum of Care through our role in the
preparation of the annual HUD SuperNOFA associated
application for Orange County service providers. In
2007 the County was notified that homeless
service providers were awarded the entire funding request
of $11.7 million which will support agencies,
who participated in the 2007 process, efforts in ensuring adequate
beds in the county.
Facilitated seminars aimed at increasing
staff education levels and agency capacity. Hosted
technical training classes in collaboration with the Volunteer
Center of Orange County and Tech MD.
